Can I keep my current E-Mail address?

Yes, with your Instawave account you will have 4 or more new email addresses for your use. If you want to keep your current e-mail address, most ISPs offer a reduced rate "e-mail only" plan which will permit you to retain your current e-mail address. Check with your current ISP for details.

Can I use more than one computer at a time with my Instawave connection?

Yes, a local network for your home allows you to have up to 4 computers surfing the net simultaneously, sharing files and printers with each other. Note: A local network may involve some extra cost.

How secure will my connection be?

Your Instawave connection comes with logoff security capability - you can logoff or disconnect your computer from the Instawave.net network at any time. As with any "Always on - 24/7 connection", it is also wise to install a firewall for additional protection. That is why Instawave now includes a firewall/ router in both business and residential installations at no extra charge!

What locations does instawave serve?

If you can see the Willits "W", which is located on the side of a mountain to the east of the Willits Valley, there is a very good chance you can get Instawave service. The "W" lights up at night now, and the best way to determine if you can see the "W" is to look for it on a clear night. In addition to the repeater near the Willits "W", there are several other repeaters placed at key locations, both in Willits and in outlying areas, to ensure that most of the greater Willits area can receive high quality Instawave Networks signals and reliable high-speed Internet service. We now serve most of Little Lake valley, downtown Willits, String Creek, as well as parts of Brooktrails, 1st Gate, 2nd Gate, Walker Rd, and Shafer Ranch Rd. areas.
