Installation
When you sign up, we will schedule an appointment at your convenience to verify that you have a strong signal from our broadcast tower.
After signal verification, we will:
- Install a small antenna.
- Run network cable from the antenna into your home or business.
- Install a Firewall/Router to provide secure service.
- Test and configure your computer to work properly with Instawave Networks.
Notes:
Some computers may require the addition of a network card ($19 approx).
Static IP Addressese for Businesses: add $10 per month per IP.
Both Windows 2000 and FreeBSD Unix Servers are available for hosting.
Yes, we have Unix shell accounts. :)
It is highly recommended that businesses use the 5.7ghz Motorola Canopy system. It is very stable and interference-free. With this system, business users are granted higher priority access and the highest priority bandwidth allocation.
*Remote or mobile locations may involve additional charges.
